Malacca, situated between Johor and Negeri Sembilan, is the historical state of Malaysia. Malacca is well known for its heritage buildings, ancient landmarks and colonial structures. Today, in Malacca, you can still see the imprints of British, Dutch and Portuguese forces left behind in forts, museums, churches and towers.
We are very honored to be invited as Kah Wui & Kwee Hoon appointed wedding photographers. Kah Wui & Kwee Hoon decided to have their wedding in oriental style, and it matches them very well.
During the morning ceremony, the best men equipped with swords and attacked the bride’s fort. Their mission is to conquer the fort and wins the bride’s heart. However, they underestimated the bridesmaid. Bridesmaids possessed even powerful weapons, guns! Bestmen had no choice, but to become the servants of the bridesmaids. It was fun to see swordsmen and gun ladies fought each other. All the relatives had a great laugh.
The dinner mood changed drastically, compared to the morning. Kah Wui & Kwee Hoon spent time in planning and decorating their wedding. We love the colorful sweet corner. There were many props prepared. Such as, vintage luggage, umbrella, candies, and many more. The stage and the whole dinner environment were decorated with vintage malacca style. Kah Wui wore a cheong sam, a Chinese traditional dress in the toast ceremony. There’s only one word to describe Kah Wui, gorgeous!
